Covering New Farnley and the surrounding area. Domestic and commercial work carried out properly, tested and certified.
New Farnley is a welcoming village suburb of Leeds, located just a few miles south-west of the city centre. Originally a rural farming settlement, New Farnley saw significant growth during the 19th century with the development of Farnley Iron Works and local collieries. Today, the area blends its industrial roots with peaceful residential streets, surrounded by green spaces and close-knit community spirit.
With its mix of traditional stone cottages, post-war family homes and modern new builds, New Farnley is popular with families, professionals and retirees who want village life with easy access to Leeds. Local landmarks like St James’s Church and Farnley Hall, along with good schools, community groups and local amenities, make this a great place to live and work.
At Smart Ohm, we’re proud to help keep New Farnley’s homes and businesses safe, efficient, and ready for the future with our trusted electrical and smart home services.
